What do you think about WEAX?
Here’s what some of our listeners are saying about WEAX…
Owning a music store, we pride our selves on knowing what′s new in music. 88.3 is the FIRST place I go for this. We discovered the now famous, Kings of Leon first on 88.3. The variety is great, as well as the lack of commercials. We tune in at work, home and in between. You guys ROCK! Thanks!
Traci @ Toon Music
Great radio I stumbled across up at the lakes... I listen up there and online at home. Do you take donations?
– Travis Ames
To whom it may concern (which is all of you). This past weekend I had spent some time with a friend at Clear Water Lake outside of Fremont for an end of the summer getaway weekend. Aside from the beautiful weather, gorgeous women, and exceptionally cold beers, the thing I was most impressed with was your radio station. Your musical line up goes above and beyond. It harnesses the alternative and the progressive, mixing them into a beautiful cocktail served in a classic rock chalice. From dawn to the wee hours of the morning, it was you whom we partied too. Your love for music shows, and without the stain of monstrous corporate influence of any kind. I can′t come up with enough positive adjectives to due you guys credit. I will be listening in Cincinnati everyday online...because Cincinnati hasn′t had a good radio station since WKRP (hehe). Please don′t change your format or anything you guys do. For the first time in a long time you are a radio station that literally is "music to my ears."
I cant stress enough how wonderful your station is, and I will be a devoted listener from here on out, even though you guys are a few hundred miles away! I even checked your past best albums, soaking in the great music I missed. From a UC boy, go Trine!
Sincerely,
Jeremy Hennessy
P.S. If you could play Oscar Wilde by Company of Thieves once more before I go, I will love you for it...
Hi! I′m Carly, the new information services librarian. I just started about 2.5 weeks ago. Anyway, just wanted to send you an e-mail to say how much I′ve enjoyed listening to WEAX. I love to step out of the library and listen to what songs are playing in the University Center because it′s usually a band that I love but never get to hear on commercial radio. I was involved in college radio at IU Bloomington several years ago and think it′s great that Trine has a station. I think it was like my second day here that I was walking through the halls and heard a Wilco song off of the new album and it stopped me in my tracks. I never hear that stuff unless I′m playing it myself! Thanks for the great music.
I have become a big fan of the station after hearing you on the air while camping at Pokagon. Now WEAX is the only online station I listen to. I lived in Chicago for a number of years and was always sad that a town of that size had no decent station, college or commercial. I now live in Dayton, OH and there is a pretty good NPR station. WEAX still tops the list though. Sure would be nice to see the playlist posted somewhere though. Please, please keep up the good work. Thanks to your station I don′t have to listen to just my Ipod to know I will be getting good music. – Brian Meyer
I was traveling and found your station and loved it! Thank you! – Jill L. Cincinnati, OH.
Please no make fun of Journey this morning. it hurt caveman feelings when make fun. Journey caveman′s favorite band. you make fun, caveman weep bitter tears. caveman thank you. – Caveman
Hi Revolution. Thank you for being awesome. You´re one of the greatest things I love about Angola. You have the most exciting variety of music I have ever found, and I have lived around the Motor City half my life and here the other half. Can you play a song for the Angola City Police, the one that goes, "You´'re amazing, and I am so ordinary–amazing, you´'re amazing, and I just wanna live in your light"? I have a rescuer there who deserves my honor. Thank you, and Rock On. – Jen Gray
Class of 87....Listening always in my office in North Carolina!!!! :) - Greg
I just read the article about WEAX in the Trine Magazine, so I tuned in to your online feed. Definitely cool! When I attended Tri-State College (EE 1965) the only radio station we had was the ham radio rig, and it was almost unavailable because the paranoid student advisor for the ham club insisted on being present whenever it was operated. You´ve come a long way, baby! - Dick Conklin
Greetings! I am browsing WEAX´s web site after reading about it on page 15 in the new Trine magazine. I finally was able to hear music after clicking "Listen Online." I was not able to find you all by searching WEAX on Media Player. I wish you all well. - TCA

You guys are playing awesome music this am! Thanks!
Great job on the morning format. I like the featured artist with the information given about some of the songs WEAX plays. It is good because unless you have an extensive library you wouldn't hear these songs anywhere else, and now we know a little more about them and who wrote them. – Gordon
